Inspiration for Keeping a Journal

I just finished reading the Fever series by Karen Marie Moning.  It wasn’t very thought-provoking, but there was one passage about keeping journals that left a big impression on me.  The heroine MacKayla Lane is reminiscing about the time her father forced her to take a Franklin Planner course and remembers “[o]ne of the primary tenets of the course was that highly successful leaders kept journals, morning and night, in order to stay tightly focused on their goals.”

Though I’m not planning on becoming a highly successful leader or anything, I do have many goals I want to achieve.  Hopefully, keeping a journal will help me achieve them.
